Leadership

AHRD 540: Leadership and Facilitation: This course focuses on facilitative leadership approaches and their relationship with organizational and individual performance.  Development of facilitation skills within groups procure tools for developing and supporting change, group dynamic attention, agenda clarification, a process for helping groups meet their goals and incorporating the use of self in facilitation.  These KSA's (knowledge, skills and abilities) gives the facilitator a toolkit to work with a variety of diverse groups.

This project asked us to create a visual biography displaying our leadership experience and skills.  Outlined in a clockwise chronological progression my resume conveys all of my leadership experiences and could be used in conjunction with a traditional resume.

The Historical Impact of Leadership on Change Management

The paper explored a deeper understanding and connection between leadership and the emerging discipline of change management.  Examining the the change management historical, the theoretical underpinning of leadership and it's growing contribution to the discipline, the paper constructs an understanding of this dependent relationship.  Further examination focuses on the leadership and theoretical influences, two overarching topics not specific to one theory and the role of women within the evolution of change management.

Program objectives aligned with the competency of Leadership include: 1) Successfully navigate business, industry, educational, and other organizational settings. 2) Apply systems theory, analytic systems, principles of adult development, learning theory, leadership theory, and current trends. 3) Recognize and respond responsibly to issues of diversity and ethics.
