Technology

LTLE 570: Design and Development of Digital Media: Technology has always been an area of interest.  My years of experience in audio and video design and software applications not only assisted with leaning curves but allowed me to focus on many other aspects of technology and instructional environments.  Creation of an instructional handout, interactive learning object via Powerpoint, a poster designed with Photoshop, podcast, video and an interactive e-learning module with Adobe Captivate highlighted the course.

Learning technologies, instructional design and managing learning programs highlight a few of the competencies which allows me to transfer this knowledge and not only incorporate into learning transfer within HR but also as I redesigned my presentation and facilitation for the 2017 SHRM Annual Conference and Exposition.

This project focused on adjusting clear type text for improved readability using Microsoft Word while articulating steps.  Spacing and color choice were of specific focus for this self-directed learning piece.

Instructional Handout

This design project focused on visually communicating the benefits of paperless HR.  Designed completely in Photoshop the challenge included using color, texture and shape effectively through a design and development phase to reflect the poster's concept and message.

Podcast

This project incorporated Cool Edit Pro as the audio editor and its multi-track capabilities.  With an emphasis on script writing and digital editing, this one-minute "how to" podcast reflects instructional technology and self-directed learning.
